The investigation projects of the department are inserted in the ALGORITMI centre which constitutes an investigation unit connected with the School of Engineering of the University of Minho and it includes investigators from the Department of Industrial Electronics, Systems of Information, Production and Systems and also temporary investigators. The Centre is at present grouped into 3 Lines of Investigation: Systems engineering, Systems of Information and Industrial Electronics.
